WB - Track Concept


Song: Alien Bashment

Artist: Rudimental

Location: Set in a working class area on a street and around the estates. This is to help to aid the stereotypical view of teenagers with little morals.

Narrative: A group of teenagers stereotypically presented as rowdy, rude and destructive along the video go to a shop that has been smashed up and instead of looting test ideologies and help clean and fix the damage.

Performance: No band shots included, purely focused on the narrative aspect.

Concept: To demonstrate how people shouldn’t always judge people for their appearance from the outset. This concept is supposed to test ideologies.

Characters: A group, maybe 6 or 7, of teenagers. A predominately male group with 1 or 2 girls with them.

Costume: They will wear hoodies with tracksuit bottoms to represent them as stereotypical working class teenagers.

Props: They carry hammers, tape, and other DIY tools along with cigarettes that they will be smoking.

Lighting: Low key lighting.

Post-Production Effects: Darken the colour to make everything look dull. An alternative will be filming in black and white.

Camera Techniques: Handicam a prominent camera technique used along with frequent close-ups and mid-shots highlighting the characters expressions and non verbal language.
