RG - Class Music Video Discussion Feedback

After watching multiple music videos with the rest of the class and having discussions about the conventions of a narrative, concept and performance video. I decided that I would prefer to make a narrative video for our song 'Royal Blood - Careless'. One particular video that we watched that has influenced some ideas for our video is 'Massive Attack - Live With Me'.

 

 

 The idea of isolation and drinking away sorrows is a narrative that would be appropriate for our song. The camerawork used to portray the drunken woman was shaky and would be appropriate for our piece as it conveys an idea of negativity in someone's life.

Another video which I like which when showed to my group and the class received positive feedback was 'The 1975 - Robbers'. After viewing this video with my group we all decided that this would be something that we would like to emulate and base our music video on this style of directing.
